Until then, here is some information to help you plan…

WHAT TO PACK

  • Twin-sized bedding and towels
  • modest clothing (even during swim time) – please keep mid-thighs, stomach, and back covered. Repeat violators may be asked to go home. This applies for males and females alike.
  • Bible and note-taking supplies. (no cell service, so do not rely on digital Bibles)
  • snacks to share (or hide)
  • sporting equipment, games, fishing, etc.
  • DO NOT bring any pets/animals during your stay in the Canyon, unless coordinated and approved by the Community Camping Guest Care Specialist. 
  • DO NOT bring tent camping, RV’s, ATV’s, Golf Karts, Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, alcohol, weapons, or fireworks.
  • NO SMOKING/VAPING/tobacco products are allowed.

HOW TO GET THERE

  1. Out of respect for the staff, please DO NOT arrive before 7 PM.
  2. Camp Address: 11756 NORTH U.S. HWY 83, LEAKEY, TX 78873
  3. The gate is always locked for the safety and security of our guests. To enter the canyon you’ll need to punch in the gate code #4341. One group leader needs to call from the radio at the front gate to let us know you are in the Canyon. When entering the gate code push # then the four-digit code 4341. Preferably no arrivals after dark.
  4. Cell phones do not work in the Canyon. There is a landline that can be used in case of emergency. NO PERSONAL CALLS
  5. When you arrive at Singing Hills, check in at the dining hall to get your shirt (if you pre-ordered) and find out which cabin(s) you’ll be staying in.
